Hair Colouring
Once you've achieved your perfect cut, colouring will enhance it even more, adding shine, definition and movement, leaving you with creatively beautiful hair.
Before the colouring process begins, your stylist will carry out a thorough consultation with you, listen to your requirements, and create a unique colour tailored for you, that compliments your skin tone and natural colouring. Schwarzkopf are market leaders in hair colour, giving fantastic shine and excellent coverage, as well as improving the condition of your hair. Also available are Schwarzkopf colour specific aftercare products, designed to prolong the intensity of your colour, keeping it 'salon fresh' longer.
If necessary strand testing is also available as part of your consultation, where a small highlight sized piece of your hair is gently sliced away, and your desired colour applied to it. This enables you to see the exact colour your hair will go, and your stylist can then assess whether that particular colour is suitable for you and your hair.
There are many methods of colouring available, so there is something for everyone- whether it's your first time having colour and starting with a gorgeous glossy tint, your regular maintenance highlights, or maybe you feel like trying something a bit outrageous- come in for a free consultation with one of our many experienced stylists and take the first step to achieving the colour of your dreams.
If it's your first time having colour applied directly to your scalp, we would strongly recommend you have a skin test first, to check for any allergic reactions. This is a simple process, which involves a small patch of colour applied either to your wrist or behind your ear, then left for 24 hours. A slight tingling is completely normal, however if a severe reaction is to be had tell your stylist immediately and you can both discuss alternatives such as highlights, as no colour is applied directly to your scalp.
